  iCareer is our Career Development and Talent Management tool that is built around a competency model.

iCareer supports a competency assessment process whereby employees will be able to complete a self-assessment of the competencies required by their job. This is followed-up with an assessment by the supervisor. Based on the results of the assessment, gaps that are identified will then be addressed through various means, such as internal training, external training, work shadow as well as job rotation.

iCareer can also be used to identify and manage talent pools in the organization. Using employee information that is captured in HR Avenue such as working experience, training history and appraisal history, possible talent can identified and placed in talent pools. The development of these talents as well as their readiness can then be tracked by the Talent Management Administrators.
